Receiving Overview

Summary: Review this page to learn about UCSC's receiving services.

Receiving Services receives and provides same day or next day delivery of all packages addressed to Receiving Services.

Size of package(s) and size of carrier's truck are the main reasons why departments request that item(s) be delivered to Receiving Services instead of directly to their department.

Inventorial equipment may be shipped directly to Receiving Services - where it gets inventoried and tagged, and then delivered to its campus destination.

To inquire about the status of an expected package, please provide the PO#, unit name and phone number, and vendor name.

Receiving Services does not accept packages for students.

No personal packages may be received for employees.
